These terms govern your access to The Dupe Vault and any purchase you make. By using the site or buying, you agree to them.
1. What we sell
The Dupe Vault is an independent information product: a curated index of designer fragrances and the affordable bottles the fragrance community commonly compares to them, with notes, prices, and outbound “where to buy” links. We do not sell perfume. We are not a reseller of any fragrance and we are not affiliated with any designer brand.
2. Accounts & access
Some content requires an account and a purchase. Access is tied to your account; keep your login secure and don’t share paid access. We may suspend accounts that abuse, scrape, or resell the index.
3. Prices & payment
Prices are shown in euro and are VAT-inclusive; applicable VAT is calculated at checkout based on your location (via Stripe Tax). Any prices shown in other currencies are an approximate conversion — you are billed in EUR. Payment is processed by Stripe.
4. Add-ons
Optional one-time add-ons (such as The Wardrobe Build and The Wearing System) may be offered at or after checkout. Each is a single payment for a specific digital deliverable; nothing renews automatically. The Wardrobe Build includes a personal review step and is normally delivered to your account within 48 hours.
5. Refunds & EU right of withdrawal
The Dupe Vault is digital content supplied immediately. By purchasing and choosing immediate access, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once access has been provided (Art. VI.53, 13° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law / Art. 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive). If something is wrong with your purchase, contact hello@thedupevault.com — we deal with issues fairly and in line with your statutory rights.
6. Comparisons & trademarks
All designer fragrance names are trademarks of their respective owners. Comparisons are described as “commonly compared to” or “inspired by the profile of” and reflect subjective community opinion on shared notes. We never claim any fragrance is identical to, a copy of, or the same formula as another. Prices are approximate and change over time.
7. Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which bottles we list or how we describe them.
8. Disclaimer & liability
The index is provided “as is” for informational purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Belgian law (including your statutory consumer rights).
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law, and disputes are subject to the competent Belgian courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
